Get ready for a night of laughs, love, and a little bit of ghostly charm! We're so excited to celebrate the release of Good Spirits with none other than B.K. Borison—live and in-person this fall! Since this event is shaping up to be bigger than our bookstore can hold, we’re taking it offsite to The First Parish Church in Cambridge. B.K. will be joined by fellow romance superstar Ashley Poston for a cozy, spirited conversation about B.K.’s latest swoonfest, followed by a Q&A. Every ticket includes a pre-signed copy of Good Spirits, and you’ll have the chance to grab backlist titles from both authors on-site. Please do not bring titles from home. Bring your questions, bring your friends, and bring your love for haunted holiday romance—this is one bookish bash you don’t want to miss!
Reminder: This is an off-site event at The First Parish Church in Cambridge
EVENT DETAILS
Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon! If the event sells out, you can join the waitlist. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer them to the next person.
SIGNING INFO
Your ticket includes a pre-signed copy of Good Spirits! We’ll also have pre-signed copies of Ashley's and B.K.'s books available for purchase at the event.
There won’t be a live signing at this event so we kindly ask that you don’t bring books from home for B.K. or Ashley to sign—they won’t be able to accommodate additional items. Thanks for understanding!
ACCESSIBILITY
Guests who would benefit from priority seating or any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at [email protected]. We're more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.
We’re always learning and looking for ways to make our events more accessible. If you have suggestions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you!
BOOK PICKUP POLICY
If you purchased a book with your event ticket but can’t make it to the event—and don’t request a refund—we’ll happily hold your book for pickup for up to 6 months after the event date.
We’ll be in touch via the email you provided at checkout to help coordinate pickup. After 6 months, if we haven’t heard from you or made other arrangements, we’ll consider the book abandoned property and may donate it or return it to inventory so it can find a new home.
Thanks so much for your understanding and for supporting our events—we love doing this with you!
ABOUT B.K. BORISON
B.K. Borison is the New York Times bestselling author of cozy, contemporary romances featuring emotionally vulnerable characters and swoon-worthy settings. When she’s not daydreaming about fictional characters doing fictional things, she’s at home with her family, more than likely buying books she doesn’t have room for.
ABOUT GOOD SPIRITS
He’s the Ghost of Christmas Past. She’s not exactly Scrooge.
Ghost of Christmas Past Nolan Callahan intends to spend this holiday haunting like every other—get in, get out, return to his otherwise aimless existence as a ghost awaiting the afterlife. But when he’s faced with Harriet York, the sweetest assignment he’s ever had, he suddenly finds himself wishing for a future.
Harriet York has no idea why she’s being haunted. She’s a good person—or, at least, she tries to be. A people pleaser to her core, she always does what’s expected of her. But as she and Nolan begin to examine her past, they discover there are threads that bind them together— and realize there might be more to moving on than expected.
With the deadline of Christmas Eve fast approaching, will they find the key to their futures in each other’s pasts? Or will they stay firmly in the present, indulging in their unexpected, spirited connection?
ABOUT THE CONVERSATION PARTNER
Ashley Poston is the New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of The Dead Romantics, The Seven Year Slip, and A Novel Love Story. She has also written over half a dozen young adult novels.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a BA in English, she pursued a career in the publishing industry where she helped design and implement marketing strategies for novels. Now, she writes full-time from her little grey house, and spoils her three cats. When not writing, she bides her time between South Carolina and New York, and all the bookstores between.
