Join us for the Boston premiere of Gone Running, a warmhearted and witty Hungarian film that proves even the most unlikely undertaking can bring a family together. The screening will be shown with English subtitles—feel free to bring along English-speaking family and friends.


After the sudden death of her husband, Vera (Dorottya Udvaros) is determined to fulfill his last wish: a marathon relay run—with her three daughters (Rozi Lovas, Réka Tenki, Beatrix Trill). There’s just one catch: none of them are physically or mentally ready for the challenge. As the trio embarks on their training and race, the ripple effects touch relatives and friends, offering moments of humor, tension, and emotional insight.


Directed by Gábor Herendi, Gone Running (2024) runs approximately 104 minutes.
