Go Organically Fruit Snacks, in partnership with First Book, recently launched GO Gives Back, a program to provide one lucky school with hundreds of back-to-school kits (filled with books, school supplies and more) and that school could be Higginson-Lewis K-8 School in Boston, MA.


Consumers have the opportunity to vote on one school until August 29th when the grand prize winner will be announced. Every school that entered to participate will also receive some funding to purchase supplies for a successful new year.


Higginson-Lewis teacher, Danielle S. will use the funds to provide the school with more resources. The school currently has no library for the children to utilize, and also no book room for teachers to use as a resource for planning. She envisions using the prize to create thematic units that can be used across grade levels to teach many of the core values (like decision making, processing emotions and navigating difficult social situations).
