Glass fusing is the bonding of separate pieces of glass by high heat, administered in a kiln. It’s easy to learn the basics of glass fusing, it’s fun, and the possibilities are endless. There is a vast range of techniques, and we are always experimenting!
At The Glass Bar, you have the opportunity to experiment with glass fusing on a beginners' level. We also offer classes in more advanced techniques for those with a desire to learn.
Join us for this special class to show mom you care! In this class we're going to cover the basics to create a fused glass plate.
Learned techniques include cutting straight lines, curved lines, and circles. You will also gain insight into kiln working. Class includes instruction, use of tools, and materials.
We will use these techniques to design and create a 6x6 clear glass tile, which once fused can be used as a serving plate or decorative dish.
