Ditch movie night. Join us at The Glass Bar for this unique, couples only, glass fusing date night. This evening, you and your partner will connect by working together. The idea is to to get the creative juices flowing and walk away with a memory and a touchstone.
At The Glass Bar, you'll find yourself surrounded by other novices looking for a good time. You wont have any idea what to do with the plates of clear glass and tools laid out in the center of the studio.
Our instructors work with beginners everyday, accessing each individual’s skill level. We have developed a master plan to ensure that each individual is calm and confident before we move on. Then, we work with you to find inspiration for your project. We want you feel the excitement of exploring a new art form.
During this two hour long class you will each receive the instruction and materials needed to create a fused glass plate of your design.
Once you have created a design that you love, the instructor will aid you in bringing it to life. We will move on to the final touches, finalizing your design and prepping the pieces for the kiln. You will not be present for the kiln firing process, as it takes 12+ hours, but you will gain knowledge of the process.
Course fee is $40 per participant. Online registration required.
Please wear close toed shoes.
Projects must fire in the kiln over night and may take up to a month for completion. We are not responsible for projects after 30 days. We are not responsible for projects that break in the kiln.
