Our Instructor is a maker who specializes in glass etching, who will share some of the tricks he’s learned along the way.
In this class, we will explore the fundamentals of glass etching:
-Using a jig to stabilize the glassware
-Laser taping and other masking techniques
-Ideal laser settings to achieve the best results
-Vector graphics vs. JPEG files
Students should know the basics of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop in order to create the appropriate files for etching.
