Girl with a Hawk raise a glass to the rock and roll lifers with debut album 'Regenesis', and the Boston band’ celebrates with the official release party on Saturday, June 20 at The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain. Joining in on the fun are a pair of fellow Rum Bar Records bands in Stop calling Me Frank and Tad Overbaugh and the Late Arrivals.


'Regenesis' is a gold-standard rock and roll collection that harnesses the band’s classic rock, power-pop, and Americana sound. It bridges a gap between that cool ’70s rock vibe and the chaos and concern of the modern day, all filtered through the collaborative songwriting lens of scene stalwart Linda Viens.


'Regenesis' also captures the Girl with a Hawk ethos, honoring the ones doing it for the love of music, for the love of those around them, and for the love that took hold many years ago and simply never let go. This one’s for all of us.
