Gifford Cat Shelter is holding its 10th annual Spring Soiree and Silent Auction on Sunday, April 22, 2017, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Needham Town Hall. The event will help raise funds so Gifford can continue to provide a safe haven for cats and kittens while they wait for their forever homes.
The event will include hors d’oeuvres, live music, a cash bar, and the Annual Cutest Pet Contest. The Silent Auction will have a fabulous array of items including dining, entertainment and travel, sports, health and beauty, jewelry, home and garden, and, of course, pet items.
Founded in 1884, the Gifford Cat Shelter is the first cageless, no-kill animal shelter in the United States. Every year, the shelter saves hundreds of abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted, and injured cats and helps them find homes. The shelter relies on the generosity of its donors and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the cats are provided a comfortable and peaceful environment in which they can thrive.
