Throw down the parka, bust out the floral prints and get ready to engage in some warm-weather mischief with Boston-born Ghost Tequila at the Greenway for “A Sip of Cinco.”


The city is thirsting for warm weather and Ghost Tequila is here to give the people of Boston a taste of the heat to come with the ultimate pre-Cinco celebration. On Thursday, May 3 from 4 - 7 p.m., Ghost Tequila will transform The Greenway at Dewey Square into a pop-up cabana, complete with tiki torches, palm trees, fire pits, a skeleton dance crew and of course, two fully stocked bars. As the first foray into spirit sampling by the Greenway, there’s truly never been an activation like this before in Boston.


Passersby of legal age will be invited in small groups to enter the pop-up – only after passing inspection of being “spicy enough” to enter. After they enter they’ll have the chance to chill at the beach bar to sample innovative takes on traditional tequila cocktails. For a few minutes, they will be able to sip, relax, escape the city and fantasize that they’re in a tropical paradise After they exit, they’ll have the chance for one last photo opportunity with the ghost crew (and some surprise guests) on a step and repeat shot from an aerial view.
