Join Brian O’Donovan and some Irish traditional musicians for a late morning gathering at the Boston Public Library.
Brian will talk about Christmas traditions growing up in West Cork in Ireland and about his upcoming in-person AND virtual presentation of A Christmas Celtic Sojourn in December. Brian welcomes back this wonderful trio of musicians, Calum Bell on Fiddle and Flute, Eamon Sefton on Guitar, and Elias Cardoso on Fiddle.
The program will also feature a conversation with Brian’s wife Lindsay O’Donovan about their Christmas traditions in their family raising four children. He will add some of his favorite poems and a segment of his favorite Christmas Story, A Child’s Christmas in Wales from Dylan Thomas. A short Q&A session will also feature, so ask him anything! Hope you can join us.
All attendees will be required to wear a mask in the Newsfeed Café unless eating or drinking. Capacity in the Newsfeed Café will be limited to 60 people. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
