Please join the Friends of the Children-Boston Young Professionals Board on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 7-9pm for an evening of ping-pong, drinks and fun at Game On Fenway. This will be the inaugural fundraiser for the Young Professionals Board. Appetizers and 2 complimentary drinks of your choice are included in the ticket price. We also invite you to enter our raffle for a chance to win visits to Boston restaurants, sports tickets, and more! Proceeds will directly support Friends-Boston.
Friends-Boston is a local non-profit that pairs professional, salaried mentors with some of the city’s most at-risk youth. Friends seeks out youth who have experienced multiple traumas early in life and matches them with full-time, salaried professionals whose job it is to ensure their social and emotional development for 12.5 years. Friends has an incredible track record of narrowing the gaps in academic and life outcomes for these “Achievers”, with 100% of alumni enrolled in post-high school education or gainfully employed.
