The venerable Historic New England Genealogical Society’s American Inspiration Author series hosts beloved New York Times columnist Gail Collins. She will discuss her latest book “No Stopping Us Now: The Adventures of Older Women in American History.” With razor-sharp and witty commentary, Collins guides us through the shifting sands of America’s complex history of women. She also chronicles the lives of our country’s most fascinating women from Sojourner Truth to Mae West to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as well as many whose names are less well-known. After an in-depth discussion with the author there will be a Q&A and book signing. Don’t miss this exciting afternoon!
