This is the first of a series of monthly events to spread the joy of making music on the ukulele and sing along to lyrics projected on the white wall.
You can borrow a soprano ukulele in soft case and a clip-on tuner at the nearby Adams Street Branch of the Boston Public Library and bring it to this free session led by ukulele players that meet regularly (weekly) in Historic Lower Mills.
Light refreshments will be provided by the library.
We begin with tune up and warm-up between 5:30 and 6 pm and then go into easy songs (two and three chords). This is also an information and advice session on where to get your own ukulele, clip-on tuner, and workshops/courses and jam sessions around town.
Free parking on streets and nearby establishments (CVS, church, etc). Walking distance uphill from Milton T-station (Mattapan Trolley from Ashmont station on the Red Line).
