Looking for a fun way to warm up on a cold February day?


For the first time in two years, the Friends of the Public Garden invites you to join us for a magical day of Skating with FRIENDS! on the Frog Pond. The event will feature free skate rentals (while supplies last) and free cookies, and there will be free hot chocolate thanks to our partner the Skating Club of Boston. Skating assistants will be on hand, and Frog Pond Freddie will make an appearance!


The FREE skating sessions begin at 10 am, 12 pm, 2pm 4 pm, and 6 pm. Space is limited to 125 skaters per 90-minute session. Free tickets are available beginning 30 minutes before each session.


Come experience the magic of ice skating surrounded by the sights and sounds of the City, and help us support our mission to renew, care, and advocate for Boston’s historic parks!
