Plant ownership can help boost your mood and can help improve your indoor air quality and overall environment, however they can be can be expensive and inaccessible for many under-served neighborhoods in Boston.


Inspired by Free Plants ATL and the support Emerald City Plant Shop received in order to open our doors just a year ago, FREE PLANTS BOS is a free tropical plant giveaway sponsored by the Boston Ujima Project for the Boston Community to help make plant ownership accessible for all.


We are so excited to host the inaugural event during our Anniversary Month in our Founder's hometown of Mattapan. The event will start at 11am outside at the Mattapan Branch Library's back lawn (1350 Blue Hill Ave. Mattapan) and run while supplies last.



FREE PLANTS BOS. is a small thank you to our community, that gave some much to us. We hope to see you there.
