Free Fiber Arts Shop Night

Join us for an evening of creativity and connection at our monthly open-to-the-public Fiber Arts Shop Night!

April Fiber Arts Shop Night features a Live Hand Embroidery Demo by Stephanie Shields @blueflameleather

Come in to learn the basics of hand embroidery stitching! Each participant gets to take their hand sewn project home at the end of the evening. If you've never sewn before this is a great place to start!

Stephanie will cover the history of and types of embroidery, materials used, then the demonstration will start around 7:30pm. Attendees can work on their projects for the remainder of the session and take them home (without the embroidery hoop) at the end of the night!

All materials will be provided, but we can advise you on where to purchase more embroidery supplies for you to continue your practice.

The fine print:

-Typically we have a visiting artist do a live demo on their craft, attendees get to learn something new, and everyone gets to leave with a sample of what they learned.

-Shop Night is always on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and the theme is always a little different!

-No previous experience is required to attend or participate

-Materials will be provided

-Event is FREE and open to the public
