Want to wear a costume to a convention? Already have a costume that needs work? Have questions about prop building, EVA foam construction, or costuming? Come to our Free Cosplay Workshop and work on your projects with experienced prop builders and costumers as we prepare for the upcoming PAX East! (Preparing for PAX is not required, come hang out and build cosplays with us!)
Foamsmithing, 3D printing, Sewing, Prop Making - working on building cosplay projects!
Students must be at least 18 years of age.
Interest in costuming, cosplay, and props, a costume project that is in process, an idea for a costume, in process props, etc
Bring your own materials and any personal tools you may need. Some small tools may be available. Some foam and thermoplastic will be available for cash purchase.
This class will run weekly - sign up and bring a friend!
A lifelong sci-fi nerd, Jacob "Rocket" LaRocca builds props and repairs cosplay in his free time. He can bee seen at most east coast conventions running "Rocket's Free Cosplay Repair". When not building props and costumes, he is usually building something out of duct tape, playing his trombone, or tap dancing.
