This event is hosted through Make Friends After College, a meetup group dedicated to hosting social events for people in the Boston area in their 20s/30s.

This free tour will take participants through downtown Boston, visiting various sites of significance to famous Boston authors ranging from the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, Frederick Douglass, and Sylvia Plath. It will begin at the Boston Common and end in Beacon Hill, lasting about 3 hours. Whether you're an avid reader looking to learn more about Boston's connection to literary history, or you just want something fun to do on a Saturday night, this is a great way to make new friends, share your passion for books, and learn some things along the way!

We'll meet at the Boston Common (by the Frog Pond) at 1 PM. We'll wait for about half an hour for everyone to show up before departing. Please arrive promptly, as I will be unlikely to respond to messages after 1:30.
