In recognition of World Mental Health Day, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”) is offering a free $25 Bluebikes credit on Friday, October 10 to underscore the role of biking in supporting mental and physical health.


Blue Cross is the title sponsor of Bluebikes, Greater Boston’s municipally owned bike-sharing system. The system is municipally owned by thirteen cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts, and jointly managed by the Cities of Boston, Cambridge, Everett, and Somerville and the Town of Brookline. It is operated by Lyft under municipal contract.


Individuals can access the complimentary $25 Bluebikes credits using code BLUECROSSMA1010 in the “Rewards” section of the Bluebikes app. Once redeemed, the credit will be added to the rider’s account and remain valid for 12 months from the time of redemption.
