Free Dance Studio presents a free beginner Line Dance workshop. For this 90 minute workshop we'll teach you some fun line dances. This class is designed for pure beginners so if you've never danced before or have only had a little experience with some basic footwork, join us as we to teach you the original, fun, fantastic line dances choreographed to music ranging from the 20's all the way to present pop culture.
We'll cover:
o Basic line dances covered include
- Shim Sham (swing/lindy)
- Jitterbug Stroll (swing/lindy)
- Philly Bop (soul/swing)
- Wobble (hip hop)
- Have Fun Go Mad (modern/hip hop)
- Ain't Misbehavin' (modern/progressive)
- Come Dance With Me (modern/progressive)
o Line dancing teaches you cool jazz footwork you can integrate into your dancing

Time: 8:00pm - 9:30pm (with optional 30 minutes of practice until 10:00pm)
