In honor of the annual Ayurveda Day, a global initiative to promote and preserve the health science of Ayurveda, we will take an honest look at the existential problem we are facing with our natural resources and discuss the Anthropocene which reveals how we have gotten to this point of crisis. We will look at the Ayurvedic macro/microcosmic perspectives of how we are linked to each other and our natural world. Most of all, we will make a collective wish for ourselves and for the collective family of our humanity. Through discussion, reflection, and sattavajaya (an Ayurvedic yoga practice) we will extend compassion for self and each other during this time.
