Museum of Fine Arts Boston
465 Huntington Avenue
Mark your calendars! We’re offering several opportunities for you to see the iconic Obama portraits for free during their time in Boston—the final stop on a nationwide tour organized by the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.
Our doors will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on September 5 (Labor Day), September 19, October 10 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day) and October 30. No need to book in advance, just stroll on in—tickets will be available in person on a first-come, first-served basis.
Already have tickets to see the portraits another day? The whole Museum is yours to explore on these free days—come and visit that new gallery you’ve been meaning to see or say hello to an old favorite. Plus, don’t miss more than 2,600 community submissions on display as part of “Portraits of Leadership: Responses to the Obama Portraits.”
