Join the Polly Thayer Starr Studio Artist, Rayna Lo in the Bertucci Education Studio and create your own geometric contemporary illustration of the Courtyard.
In Calderwood Hall, watch the Luminary Lens series, featuring the exploration of works of art in the Gardner Museum collection by our Neighborhood Salon Luminaries. This series shares commissions of new performances, music, community projects, and art-making that was inspired by the Gardner Museum collection. Modeled after Isabella Stewart Gardner’s legacy as a curator and hostess of artist salons around the turn of the century, the Neighborhood Salon Luminary program is a gathering of Boston's select artists and cultural luminaries that nurtures an active exchange of ideas between Boston's most innovative and thoughtful creatives, fostering collaborations and artistic networks, while shaping Gardner Museum programming.
Explore the special exhibition, Being Muholi: Portraits of Resistance, on view in Hostetter and Fenway galleries and the façade of the museum.
