Found through Sound: Bar Social Dance Series

Ever feel the need to move but don't know where to start?  

Yes, that's why we dance with other people!

No matter where you are, whatever tunes are playing, there are so many options for you to have style and fun in the moment.  

In this Bar Social dance workshop series, we will build on your ability to connect with any partner, recognize different music, and feel that you have a variety of movement & freedom to take every opportunity to the next level. Whether you want to meet new people, connect more deeply with those you already know, align with your own body and mind, dancing together is a main tool we can use to brighten up our lives one step & song at a time!  

This is an all level workshop series; we will go from foundational music theory, to body mechanics & techniques to pattern variety and experimentation! We will blend movements and timings from many dance styles you will hear out in the wild such as swing, salsa, merengue & konpa, hustle, foxtrot and country! You will be ready for anything at the end of this workshop..

$50 for the entire series or $20 per workshop evening
