FORAGER is a Brooklyn-based trio whose music blends contemporary indie rock with intricate guitar work, melismatic vocals, and curious, shapeshifting grooves. NPR’s Bobby Carter called their music “buttery” and “complex,” remarking, “Where have you been all my life?!?” FORAGER has built a following on the strength of their live show, selling out venues in New York and across the US.
Their sophomore album, Even a Child Can Cover the Sun With a Finger, ventures into rawer territory: whispered vocals over blaring sirens and distorted drums, and singable psych-pop choruses that disintegrate into mayhem. The album captures the peeled-back intimacy of folk singer-songwriters alongside the pulsating synchronicity that only a band can achieve.
