A unique, multi-sensory, mobile art exhibit—Foodscape—comes to Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway on Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday, May 28th from 12-4pm (rain date: Monday, May 29th). A public art experience, Foodscape is a rare chance to take a sensory journey into the diverse and rich ecosystem of Israel, all while staying in Boston.
Created by two Israeli artists, Carmel Beer and Michal Evytar who are Studio Mela, this multisensory experience invites participants to explore the diverse vegetation and flavors of Israel. Participants will wander through a 3,000 sq. ft. “field” installed on the Greenway showcasing herbs that grow across the land of Israel—and watch as the artists sow and harvest the herbs to creating a refreshing glass of gazoz, a beloved Israeli soda, for visitors to enjoy.
