Our identities are a fluid, living reaction to that which is swirling both around and within you. Through his work, Joshua Wilmoth highlights the constant ebb and flow each of us has hidden just beneath the surface and explores these spaces between motion and stillness.


Showcasing artwork from across a variety of series, including 'Boys with Flowers' and 'Fluidity', don't miss the opening of Wilmoth's new solo exhibition. Join the artist at his opening reception to chat with about his work and celebrate his first solo opening in the South End during SOWA's First Fridays.


Wilmoth is classically-trained, with degrees from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts as well as a graduate of the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Born and raised in South Florida, Joshua currently resides in the South End of Boston.


Fluidity + Identity runs though the end of March at Kevin Day Photography Studio.
