First Friday Open Mic at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts is hosted by singer-songwriter Jack Byrne. Singers, players, songwriters, poets, and storytellers of all ages are invited to perform. Sign-ups available online.


All are welcome to come and enjoy the music. $5 at the door. Free to HCA members.

Feature Kenny Selcer is a warm, eclectic performer that plays a wide range of material: folk rock, blues,country and reggae. The stunning guitar work and intimate vocals keep audiences asking for more. He plays known classics with original spice, as well as originals that will get you tapping your feet and singing along. He has played everywhere from Foxboro Stadium, to Club Passim, to The Bull Run and seemingly every bar and coffee shop in the area. He has 4 solo cds, 4 duo cds, and is working on 2 more, one with duo partner Steve Gilligan. He plays as a soloist, in duos(with Roberta Lamb and with Steve Gilligan, and leads the Kenny Selcer Trio and is a backup guitarist for many musicians.
