Join us with free admission and explore the Discovery Museum at night on the first Friday of every month! We will gratefully accept non-perishable food donations for the Acton Food Pantry and Open Table of Concord and Maynard. Please note: Discovery Woods closes at dusk. Sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, with additional support from Emerson Hospital.


Our mission: to inspire enduring curiosity and love of learning. At the Discovery Museum, children discover open-ended, interactive activities that encourage exploration and imagination.


In our new, 16,000sf building we’ve re-created the best hands-on STEAM exhibits from our original two museums—for little kids, big kids, and their grownups—and added many exciting new ones, including water, air, making/tinkering, and more! Come play!
