Interested in making sauerkraut and kimchi? Interested in making your own ceramic fermentation vessel? Did you know the same principles apply to fermenting all kinds of vegetables, and even grains? Come learn to ferment, and you'll go home ready to explore and create living foods. This comprehensive class will cover everything you need to start fermenting: ingredients, philosophy, preparation, and a community of fermentation enthusiasts! Each participant will take a pint jar of fermenting cabbage which will become sauerkraut plus the knowledge and confidence to explore with fermentation projects at home!
10-12 Fermentation lecture and crock throwing demonstration
12-1 **lunch break** Indigo Fire Studio will provide lunch snacks, but please feel free to bring a lunch yourself
1-2 Sauerkraut demo and everyone makes their own kraut
