Puerto Rico was devastated after the pass of hurricanes Irma and Maria. Puerto Rico needs us more than ever. A group of Puerto Ricans from MIT and the Boston Area are very compromised with this cause and we want everyone to be part of it. In our efforts to support the families in Puerto Rico, we are hosting this fundraiser in which 100% of the proceeds will go towards the P.E.C.E.S foundation (https://www.gofundme.com/centro-sostenibilidad-comunitaria), a non-profit organization working on short- (e.g. food and water) and long-term (e.g. renewable energy and urban planning) reliefs in Puerto Rico.
FEARLESS PUERTO RICO will be a halloween themed party with free food, drinks and **live music**. We are suggesting a $10 donation per person which can be handed in cash during the event or through our Venmo account (MITforPR). Please, feel free to share our Venmo account to those that would like to contribute but cannot attend to the fundraiser. We will also have raffles with great prizes and more.
