Although the blooms have passed and the leaves have turned, garden spaces continue to provide food and habitat for pollinators and other animals. In this workshop, students will learn about the balanced relationship between native plants and local pollinators that depend on late season blooms and robust options for protection from predators and the elements brought on by cold New England months. Participants will gain an understanding of how to prepare garden beds for winter to support the wildlife that calls your garden home, and leave with some tips for (indoor) winter seed sowing to begin preparations for next spring. Tuition includes a materials fee for seeds and other materials to kickstart your indoor preparation for spring. Instructor: Bailey Thaxton
