Fall Fest in Quincy is free and open to the public. The day will be filled with fun family activities, including a K9 demonstration, a touch-a-truck experience featuring first responder vehicles and heavy equipment, a bounce house and obstacle course, local vendors, and complimentary food provided by the sheriff’s tactical picnic unit.
Sheriff Patrick McDermott, the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office, and Ward 4 City Councilor James Devine will be hosting a free Fall Fest at O’Rourke Field in Quincy on Sunday, October 19th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“Fall Fest is always a big hit with families, and we are looking forward to bringing this exciting community event back to West Quincy,” said Sheriff McDermott. “Bring the kids to check out our Mobile Command Center, and have them climb inside local police, fire, and DPW vehicles.”
The K9 demonstration will be happening at 1:30 pm. The event will also feature free eye screenings from the Lions Club Eye Mobile.
O’Rourke Field is located at 549 Quarry Street in West Quincy.
Those attending Fall Fest can also learn about resources available throughout Norfolk County while visiting with local organizations, including the H.O.P.E. Center, the City of Quincy Health Department, Quincy Community Action Programs, New Hope, the VCA, the YMCA, the Lions Club, Manet Community Health, Girl Scouts, and Quincy Scouting.
