What do a former Massachusetts governor, Chinatown’s first volleyball coach, and the official witch of Salem have in common with the BCAE? They all got their starts in 1933. As part of its 85th anniversary celebration, the BCAE is proud to present a vibrant series of contemporary portraits of local 85-years-olds whose lives epitomize the motivation and inspiration that has been at the heart of this organization’s mission since it was first established.

Join us for a toast to the Faces of 1933 as the BCAE continues a year-long celebration of its landmark anniversary. Come get inspired by this original new portrait exhibit from photographer Joel Benjamin. Enjoy a splash of wine, and savor a bite of cheese while mixing and mingling with old and new friends.
