Meetup, Nature, Outside, Sports & Active Life
Explore the benefits of mindfulness in nature every Thursday evening in September. Each session will include a guided meditation, movement practice, and time for reflection. No experience with mindfulness is necessary.
Participants will be asked to walk slowly over grass or woodchip paths. Terrain will be fairly level.
Please bring a yoga mat, portable chair, or whatever else will help you feel comfortable sitting on the ground.
This is part of a series of mindfulness programs in the Emerald Necklace, facilitated by Barbara Hamm and sponsored by the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, and the Transformative Action Project.
In the event of inclement weather, registrants will be notified. For more information, please call (617) 384-5209.
