Napa Valley’s oldest winery comes to Chopps American Bar and Grill! Don’t miss your chance to try some of Charles Krug Wineries finest wine. On Wednesday, February 27, starting at 6:45 p.m., join Gigi Mondavi of Charles Krug and the team at Chopps for a three-course prix fixe meal and a night of premier wine selections. For $90 per person, Executive Chef Steve Zimei will be serving Maine Lobster Tortellacci (crispy maitake mushrooms, cauliflower, lobster nage), Spiced Lamb Rib Chops (medjool dates, feta, sumac and tahini), and Baked Alaska (smoked vanilla gelato, meringue, salted hot fudge, candied nuts).
As Napa Valley’s oldest winery established in 1861, Charles Krug Winery sources grapes from the family’s estate vineyards located throughout the Napa Valley. In 1999, the family embarked on an extensive vineyard replanting, resulting in carefully chosen clonal varieties matched to the distinct soil and climate conditions of each parcel.
