Come raise a glass to 85 years of the BCAE, and the launch of a 12-month celebration! We’ll toast our long-standing mission of providing opportunities to “learn, discuss, and create”; you’ll get a first look at our new exhibit, “Pages from History: The BCAE at 85”; and you’ll get a preview of the exciting Anniversary programs we have in store throughout 2018. Join us for a splash of wine, a bite of cheese, and a lot of inspiration! (FREE ADMISSION. Please RSVP.)
ABOUT THE EXHIBIT: Featuring historic photos and documents from the BCAE’s archives, newspaper headlines from 1933-2018, and pop culture icons that span nine decades, “Pages from History: The BCAE at 85” explores the relevance of the BCAE through 85 dramatic years that transformed our notions about everyday life. Join us for a journey from the Great Depression of the ’30s, through the social and political turbulence of the ’60s, to the present age of technology. This unique look at the past and present is sure to spark conversation about the feature. (Exhibit runs Jan-Dec 2018. Free and open to the public during business hours. Sponsored by Canon USA & Hunt’s Photo & Video).
