The Friends of Herter Park present FIVE great dance companies who can't wait to perform on the Herter Park Amphitheater stage, Sept 19, 6-7:30 pm! The #HerterAmp is a 350 seat outdoor venue, with an additional 200 lawn seats, along the Charles River in Allston. Plenty of FREE parking! Pack a picnic & come enjoy a performance under the stars! These are FREE community performances! All ages welcome!
ParadiseMoves - a diverse collective of Boston artists that create dance theater from a process of collaboration and improvisation. Their unique choreographic style fuses acting and dance technique, and values honesty above all else.

Alexander Davis Dance - draws from pop culture and the pedestrian, engaging in performances that display the innate theatricality of everyday life.

Jimika Mehta - focuses on incorporating modern elements into her traditional Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance training, striving to create movement that speaks and relates to the South Asian diaspora in the US and raising awareness on an ancient art form.
Jenna Pollack - committed to producing interdisciplinary performance. Jenna has performed with Jessie Jeanne & Dancers, Scottish Dance Theatre, The Metropolitan Opera, American Repertory Theater, Bryan Arias Company, Equus Projects NYC, Lincoln Center Education, Bash the Trash, and BOP Montréal.

Prizmatic - a student-lead hip-hop dance crew that originated out of Urbanity Dance Company. What started as a ragtag group of beginners trying to improve our dancing--through practice, exposure to new styles of dance, and by building connections to the Boston dance community--has quickly evolved into something bigger.
