StarTalk Live! gets its DNA from StarTalk Radio, the iTunes chart-topping, award-winning podcast and radio program from Neil deGrasse Tyson and Curved Light Productions. Each episode bridges the intersection between pop culture and science with clarity, humor and passion, covering captivating subjects like space travel, human intelligence, sex, extra-terrestrial life, the Big Bang, the future of our Earth and the environment.
StarTalk Live! is a co-production of Curved Light Productions and Pretty Good Friends. This very special installment is co-presented by the Cambridge Science Festival.
Founded in 2008, The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival is the world’s first sincere-and-ironic comedy festival that celebrates a close-knit comedy community, while making fun of the trappings of comedy festivals.
The independent and grassroots event is produced by Pretty Good Friends: Eugene Mirman and Julie Smith Clem. It takes place in Brooklyn every September and in Boston/Cambridge every spring.
Performers participate in the festival because of their enthusiasm for this dumb, but charming, annual tradition.
