Pianist/ composer Ethan Iverson is known for his fresh and surprising sound. His avant-garde trio The Bad Plus, melding ’60s jazz and indie rock, won Best Jazz Group from DownBeat Critics Poll. TimeOut New York has named him one of the 25 essential New York jazz icons. Tonight you’ll hear him solo on a grand piano in an intimate space. This is a special Non-Sunday show in the Jazz Sundays series.
