Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers Kick Off the Summer River Cruises

The Newburyport BluesCruise kicks off the summer season with the highly-acclaimed Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers on Saturday July 14th.

Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers is an award-winning, Boston-based band whose diverse influences range from acoustic Piedmont and Delta blues roots to hard rocking electric slide guitar, boogie blues, funk and soul. Erin's soulful vocal style and accomplished finger-picking guitar playing have earned her many fans, including guitar great Ronnie Earl, and she is quickly becoming recognized on the international blues scene. From acoustic finger-picking to electric slide guitar to wah-wah fueled funk, Erin delivers a high-octane show. Her band members include Jim Countryman on bass guitar and ukulele bass, Matt “Charles” Prozialeck on harmonica, and Kendall Divoll on drums and percussion.
