The joy and sorrow of the Easter season as reflected in a single event - the discovery of the empty tomb - link two masterworks. Ryan Turner leads Emmanuel Music's first performance of Bach’s resplendent Easter Oratorio, and John Harbison conducts his own The Supper at Emmaus, co-commissioned with The Cantata Singers, composed in honor of Emmanuel Music's founder, Craig Smith.
