There is a timeless echo associated with living with presence, embodying who we are, and being comfortable in our own skin. We long to awaken, not only to live with calm, ease, and connection, but also to know that our being is unconditionally, timelessly whole. Meditation practice can help us on this journey.

We will embark on this journey together on this silent meditation retreat anchored in the liberating teachings of the Buddha. We will practice loving-kindness, mindfulness and embodied presence, including the meditations of mindful sitting, walking, eating.

This program will be held online via Zoom. All registrants will receive the link to join the program in their Order Confirmation email. Times are ET.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator, you are equally welcome. To come to this retreat, you do not have to consider yourself a Buddhist. Here is your chance to gather in community together with other LGBTQIA+ practitioners. So please join us, get on a cushion or chair, settle your mind, open your heart, and see what you discover!

This program is open to anyone who self-identifies as LGBTQIA+ and is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators of all ages and all levels of experience.

This program will not be recorded. Full and partial scholarships are available up to 72 hours before the start of the program.

Madeline Klyne has loved the dharma since 1986. She is a co-founder and teacher of South Shore Insight Meditation Center and a visiting teacher at Insight Meditation Society. Madeline teaches retreats for LGBTQIA+ communities at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and Garrison Institute. She has also taught Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction in MA prisons. Madeline delights in exploring practice in daily life with all who are interested.
