Our scaled-down, 31st annual Musketaquid Earth Day Celebration continues our most valuable traditions like outdoors workshops on the lawn of The Umbrella building Earth Floats of natural materials.
While crafting under the guidance of art teacher Abby Cramer, participants will be serenaded by live performers, Voices on the Air, celebrating the beauty of air and song with their vocals.
After building, families will launch their Earth Floats on the Concord River in an individualized River Ceremony with CC King.
To limit numbers, participants will be assigned a time frame. Group 1 is at 12 noon. Group 2 is at 1:30pm. Group 3 is at 3:00pm. All activities will be outdoors, with very limited capacity, and masks are required. All participants are required to register in advance and complete a health safety survey. Rain date is Sunday, April 25.

Earth Day workshops are supported by grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Concord Cultural Council and are part of The Umbrella Artfest (April 24-May 16) spring cultural festival (https://theumbrellaarts.org/artfest).
