2 day art workshop focused on the anatomy, structure, and rendering of the human portrait through drawing. Composed of lectures, technique-demonstration, handouts, and guided extended-pose drawing from a model on toned paper.
This course will provide insight for all levels, from absolute beginners to those who would like to refine their understanding and effectiveness at capturing the portrait, both from life and imagination. Each student will leave with a greater knowledge on the artistic anatomy of the head forms to achieve stronger clarity in their own work.
* The ticket includes model fee + all drawing session materials, so you just need to bring yourself and an optional sketchbook to take notes.
* There will be an hour lunch break at 1PM each day (we’re a short walk from a Trader Joe’s and Starbucks)
