Join Miss Patty for a special Drag Queen Story Hour—a program that promotes self-expression, celebrates diversity, and encourages empathy through the magic of picture books, music, and drag! This all-ages event is designed to be a welcoming, affirming space for children and families.
Through songs and storybook readings, Drag Queen Story Hour models creativity and inclusivity—because every child deserves to feel safe, seen, celebrated, and free to share their truth.
This is more than just storytime—it’s a joyful, inclusive space filled with love, learning, and community.
EVENT DETAILS:
8:45 AM: Begin Gathering for the Reading – Settle in and get ready for storytime!
9:00 AM: Reading Begins – Enjoy the storytime with Patty.
9:30 AM: Q & A from the audience.
9:45 AM: Meet the author and snap a photo!
10:00 AM: Event Wraps Up – Thanks for joining us! Feel free to explore more of the children’s section at Lovestruck.
TICKETS
This event is free but capacity is limited so we ask that you RSVP to attend! If the event sells out, you can join the waitlist. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer them to the next person.
ACCESSIBILITY
Check-in will take place at our front entrance on Brattle Street. If you have any accessibility needs, you're welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.
Guests who would benefit from priority seating or any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at [email protected]. We're more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

ABOUT MISS PATTY
Miss Patty is the director of Boston's branch of Drag Story Hour. She holds her masters in Theater Education from Emerson College and currently performs all over New England and beyond as a children's performer and cabaret artist. Her favorite animal is the T-rex and her favorite flavor ice cream is plain vanilla.
