If you’re still feeling some type of way about your parents’ refusal to host that dream Disney princess-themed bash during your youth, The Thirsty Scholar is offering you a chance at redemption. On February 21, the Somerville pub will host a magical Disney Trivia Night covering the last 85+ years of classic films. Go down the rabbit hole with Alice, dive under the sea with Sebastian, and reach for the sky with Woody as you prepare for a night that will test your wits while forming a team of accomplices worthy of Goldilocks’ clean escape from the three bears. If your run is successful, you’ll be taking a $50 Thirsty Scholar gift card home to your Magic Kingdom castle.

 

From the cauldron, there are three cocktail specials ($14) that won’t put you in a Sleeping Beauty state: Life Potion, inspired by Hocus Pocus, with Rumchata, Rum Haven coconut rum, pineapple juice and lime; Mortal Potion, from Hercules, with Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver, Malört, lime, orange and ginger beer; and the Strange Magic Love Potion with pinot noir, Three Olives Rosé, cranberry, chopped apples and apple cider.
