Join mechanic and naval destroyer veteran Art Milmore for a remarkable story of the restoration of the USS Salem. Mr. Milmore volunteered on the ship for seven years doing almost every conceivable job on the ship and was aboard for it's grand return to Quincy. It was originally estimated that it would take two and a half years to ready the ship for the public, it took 7 months.


Mr. Milmore will share lots of story and photos, including many that were taken from 100 feet up on top of the ship as well as at the bottom of the dry-dock.
