We are excited to announce the opening of this year's Día de los Muertos window installation, The Raver's Altar, this Sunday 10/28 from 4-6 pm.
The Raver's Altar is part of a larger project by artist and designer Auddie Rodriguez called Coco Cultures. Coco Cultures is an appropriation of subcultural identities through the use of Auddie's alter ego "Coco." Through design branding, multi-media art production, photography and video, Coco shares the lifestyles, passions, and preoccupations of the five different subcultures she embodies. You can read more about Auddie and Coco Cultures here: https://13forest.com/news/2018/9/22/coco-cultures-the-ravers-altar
Join us on 10/28 to meet Auddie and see her ambitious multi-media installation, and enjoy the food, music, and activities in Capitol Square to celebrate Día de los Muertos.
