Are you interested in 3D printing, but not sure where to start? Or, are you an experienced 3D printer looking to fine tune your design skills? Come to Designing for 3D printing, a two part series where you will learn basic design principles for 3D printing in week one, and troubleshoot and fine tune your design in week two.
After these trainings, and with some outside work in between, you will walk away with a ready-to-print design. You can then schedule a time to come into Fab@CIC during Walk-in-Wednesdays to print out your design - two free hours of printing included in your ticket cost. (E-mail [email protected] to schedule.)
After this training, you will also be able to take our 3D printing test to qualify for using our machine on your own. Ticket cost includes both training dates, which are:
